I graduated from Kutztown State College, now Kutztown University with a B.S. in Library Science K - 12. My Master's Degree was awarded by the State of Pennsylvania. Additionally. I completed 45 credits from various colleges and universities in education, computers and literature.
MISSION
My misson is to connect children with books, whether for pleasure reading or to find information.
My Philosophy
I believe children need to see and hear the written word. Books provide the means to fulfil that need. Through the language of books, children learn how to communicate their thoughts and ideas to others. They learn to stretch their imagination and imagine the unimaginable. They discover the world around them and the world within themselves. Books open the door to the past, the present and the future.
